Tortuosity in packed beds or porous media is of significant interest many fields, from geoscience to the chemical industry. plays a role mass transport media, but also their residual thermal electric conductivity when particles are not conducting. Several predictive models have been proposed evaluate tortuosity, there still gap it comes considering various particle shapes. The preponderance tortuosity substantiated literature porosity-dependent while only few include shape parameters.
